Georgia Fla St Texas Texas Tech San Jose St Northern Ill Stanford Wisconsin Miss Tx AM Oklahoma Nebraska Michigan Michigan St South Carolina USC UCLA LSU Clemson Miss St Vandy Oregon St Arizona Utah St Northwestern TCU Boise St Purdue And that is not some of the less know conference teams. UL got the luxury of a 4 way tie and being highest ranked team. Lost to 2 bad teams. They played a CAKE schedule. Trinity HS could have won half of those games. Yeah UL deserves to go to a bowl, but not a nice prestigious bowl like this, especially with a team and schedule like they have. But the Big Easy East is pathetic.

The current college football bowl system is horrible. However UL without deserves to be in this bowl game based on the current rules. Every team knew what they had to do to guarntee themselves a shot to be in a BCS bowl game. Those other teams failed somewhere along the way to accomplish what they needed to accomplish to guarntee getting in. UL did just enough of what they had to do to get in, so they deserve it based on how college football is set up.
