Ludlow Coaching Situation?

Featured Replies

:thumb: I agree with futurecoach it is a little too quick to say that in the next ten years HC will win seven or eight of those games. You never know what could happen next year, let alone ten years down the road.

I dont know about that. They couldn't stop are offense all game long. Holy Cross has had trouble with that offense every year now since Hensley put it in. So if we would have played 10 times most of them wouldn't have been blow outs just because Holy Crosses defense wasn't that good and couldn't stop our offense. Holy Cross wouldn't have even won all 10 games if we played 10 times. I would admit they probably would have won more out of the 10 than us with Armstrong and Stone but we would would have won a couple times out of those 10.

As for the next rest of the times they meet, first it will depend on who gets the coaching job. It will probably be Randy Borchers or atleast it should be. If he is the coach then not much probably would change with the system so Ludlow should stay pretty successful. So Holy Cross probably wont even win next year. Ludlow returns mostly all of their starters from last years team that gave Holy Cross a great game with both teams just kept scoring after each other. So I think you might be a little quick on your prediction that Holy Cross will win 80% of the time because next year probably will be one of the first losses Holy Cross will be having to Ludlow of many for years to come.

Considering HC returns almost everyone of importance I doubt that.

I agree with you FC. There is no way you can say that Ludlow will lose to Holy Cross 70-80% of the time they play when you have no idea what younger generations are going to do.

I don't why will football being any different than any other sport? The talent levels are just different. Ludlow has it runs for a couple years in a few sports. But the law averages says HC athletic programs beat them a majority of the time. Its a fact.

Sounds like the new coach will need to beat HC?

Yeah I guess it helps when you can bring in players from Cincinnati and all kinds of other places to keep having good athletic programs every year...And as for next year we will see who wins that game!

:thumb: This may have set a record for straying off topic. Anyway, the paper said the coach was from Princeton and the chance to get back into southwestern Ohio football was a factor. Can't blame him for that.

KY Post says Ludlow Frosh coach is leaving to head up the new middle school team at Walton-Verona.

Head coach to Taylor. Frosh coach to W-V initial middle school team.

Yes Coach Hensley if off to Taylor. But Freshman Coach McMillen is the one taking over the Walton Verona Middle School program, and I wish him the best of luck on starting that program.
