Central 21 Wayne County 18

Great showing by WC. I know there are no moral victories but this is a moral victory...

Central vulnerable in 3A this season?

Maybe Wayne and Larue are just a little better than people think.

The Bell/Larue game was 7-7 at half and Larue was up 14-7 halfway through the 3rd.

Wayne County is a very solid team and they showed it tonight.

YES they are not the same team without Wales. Bell should win state in my opinion.

No doubt they aren't the same team without Wales, but still a dang good team (just look at who they have beaten and the teams they tood to the wire in 6A St. X and PRP) I expect Bell to win next week playing at home.

There are a pair of teams on the opposite side of the bracket (maybe 3 of you include Bourbon) who will have a say in that.

true Bourbon is very very very good.

Let me apologize. I said without a doubt that Central would handle Wayne County. I was clearly wrong. Great showing by Wayne County. But Central is still hard to beat with it all on the line.
