Fleming County came to play tonight. six - your team did you proud. 14-7 at half; Mason went up 20-7 real early in the 3rd quarter but the Panthers came storming back to take a 21-20 lead. That bunch set of backs was giving the Royals trouble most of the night. Game wasn't put away until real late. Super clean game - one hold on a kick return, a couple of procedure calls and a couple of kickoffs out of bounds. Penalties played absolutely no part in this one.

 

Tonight was the Rashon Nelson show. Unofficial stats - 39 carries, 266 yards and 4 TDs.

 

Monumental task next week as the undefeated Bourbon County Colonels visit Maysville. But let's be honest - how many saw 7 straight wins for the Royals and a regional championship spot after last season and this season's first 5 games?!
