Petraeus resigns as CIA Director

This is getting weird. When I see things like this is makes me feel more intelligent, well at least having more common sense.

So, now, an FBI agent who was relieved of working on this investigation then went and called a member of Congress. He also sent shirtless photos to the lady that had the threatening emails sent to her, which I am guessing is why he was taken off the case. ODD!

There is a saying in the CIA, if you can't have 3 affairs and not keep them a secret, you don't belong in the CIA.

So it appears there were prisoners being held at the main compound or the Annex where the the former Navy Seals / CIA agents were.

Paula Broadwell University of Denver Speech Video Pulled Down from YouTube [Transcript, WATCH] : Videos : Enstarz

The speech was October 26th.

"Now, I don't know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually, um, had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that's still being vetted...."

Why would the CIA be holding prisoners at an almost completely unsecured 'Annex' in Libya?

Why not take them to Gitm........oops....never mind.....

She got that from Fox News.

She got that from Fox News.

Not the prisoner part. She ir referring to the fact that the two ex-SEALS were CIA. She attributes that to Fox news.

"...along with a couple of security agents who happened to be CIA security paramilitary forces, that just came out today in Fox News."

Emphasis added.

The quotes above are later in her speech. The prisoner aspect was not attributed to Fox.

It was probably hard to house prisoners if your main mission was to run guns to Syrian 'rebels' with the help of the Muslim Brotherhood.

"Charlie Wilson's War"?

From the WSJ:

Immediately after, she mentioned the possibility that the CIA had held militants at the site, which the Fox report also mentioned.

So now our Administration is giving guns to the Muslim Brotherhood to give to Syrian rebels? If so, we are again supporting extremism by helping the Brotherhood and the destruction of Israel.

If it came from Fox or not, does it make it any less true? It seems to me that Fox has been spot on while being one of the few news organizations to actually report on the Benghazi story.

FBI agents are at Petraeus lovers home tonight.

"Mommy, why are men with badges and guns at our house?"

I never commented on the veracity of the story. The implication was that she was giving insider's info. Not true according to WSJ.

We'll have to see if Fox has been "spot on" or not when the truth (if ) comes out.

This is turning in to a fiasco. I need a timeline of events to better explain it all to me.

Saw a report that 20-30 thousand inappropriate emails had been sent to the woman from Petraeus' lover. To me that is an unhinged person and it worries me what information she had access to.

Actually she had top-secret while doing the bio. She may still hold that clearance today. Of course having a high level clearance and getting on the distribution list of the real sensitive stuff are to different things.
