D'Antoni just had knee replacement surgery. Out til at least mid-December.

Might be where the talks of an interim coach are coming in. An interim until D'Antoni is physically able to coach.

Doesn't matter who coaches them they will not win it this year.

 

Lakers need to move on from Phil Jackson, he will come in and coach this team and retire again, especially if they lose this year. It will not help them retain Howard.

Not many have the pedigree to even qualify to be their coach. Honestly I would like to see D'antoni with that group of talent.

They should have fired Artest while they were at it.
