Kasey Clark -Russell, and Drew McDavid- Ashland should be on the team next year!

I agree, Fields Davis has a good shot, and Im sure Russell has some guys on D that will deserve it, but I cant remember any of their names right now.

Are their any Linemen from the area that have a chance? Drew Mell from Russell was a very good lineman.

I hope to make it to the game again and see another Kentucky win. I believe the record in 4 wins and 1 L when I am there.

I think the safe bet would be 0, but I would think that atleast 2 players deserve it, Holbrook and Blume.

Holbrook was a great QB, but the two QB's are voted on by coaches. Does he have a chance at QB or could he play another position with his athletic abilities? BLume certainly deserves it too, but I wonder if he can beat out the top two or three RB in the state.

I'd say the 2 qbs that will be voted on will be Fidler (UK) and Burke ( NC State). The RB situation could be tighter. Blume certainly had numbers, but I'd say he'll be hard pressed to make the team with Rod Johnson, Paul Warford, & Tyler Wimsatt out there at the same position.

Yes only two Qb's are selected. Of course there have been instances when a player that excelled at another position that also started QB was selected to play the other position at could have had a chance to play the 3rd slot at QB, one instance that comes to mind is Cole Draughn of Pulaski a couple of years ago he was selected as a LB but he could've easily backed up some at the QB postion. When you have 24 postions to fill and backups are needed at almost every position, then there can't be many more than 2QB's selected because there are only so many people allowed on the roster. Somewhere around the mid 40's I believe.

Yes Blume will be pressed by those 3 backs....but dont forget about Ronnie Letcher from Madison Central also....he outshined Paul Warford this year and really showed people what he can truely do....Would you all think that he has a chance to get on the team??

There should be a couple of spots for Athletes, basically spots for a couple of guys who can play various positions on both sides of the ball.

I heard that the all-star selections are out, but, can't find any info on the selections other than word-of-mouth. These are the selections that I have heard,

Darius Baughman - Danville

Seth Tamme - Boyle Co.

Ronnie Letcher - Madison Central

KJ Black - Fern Creek

Derrick Elder - St. X

Rod Johnson - Henry Clay

Orlando Misaalefua - Ft. Campbell

Seven Western Kentucky recruits......

Anyone know the complete list??

So glad to see Mikey Denney from Rock make the team. I'm sure he'll be the center. Hard work has definately paid off for this young man.

He may be the strongest kid on the team.

He benched 185 forty four times last week, he has been preparing and hoping he made the select list.

Congrats to all.

Surprised to see that Buckeye Hunter from Bell County wasn't on the list but he may be added later. He was a great player.

I see at least four QB's (Fidler, Black, Anderson & Burke). Hope they can play other positions or just play a quarter each.

Burke and Fidler were the two QB's voted hence the * next to them. I'm sure Anderson and Black were picked to play another position. Usually the two QB's rotate that were selected by the coaches.
