I'm hearing the game has been scheduled for Thursday night. NCC did not want to play the next round on short rest. They would rather take their chances playing HC on short rest.

 

 

I can see that. The winner of Walton - Lloyd is clearly a more serious threat than Holy Cross. Take the short week versus Holy Cross and get more time to prepare for a better team and/or a team you haven't played if Walton wins. However, due to exam week at NCC, it is now being reported that the game will be played on Saturday.

Final decision as made earlier this morning by both AD's and it will be SATURDAY at 7:00 PM at NEWPORT HS.

 

HC had the Sports Nite Fundraiser on Friday night and NCC wanted to play Thursday night until they realized exams were next day so they settled on Saturday.

Nice to see an agreement was made for the best of both schools. It would be awful hard to cram for exams while playing a football game.
