I recall threats and ignorant comments when Obama was elected. The media was all over it and pointed to racism. Why are they not all over this? Looking at some of the posts, isn't it racism in this case?

WOW, I read a few of the comments and would hope the SS would investigate them much like they did Ted Nugent.

Internet message boards sometimes turn people into something they really aren't. Happens to me more than I'd care to admit. This thread looks really divisive, but I'd be willing to bet a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle that Trinity Alum and PurplePride92 could come over to my house Tuesday night to watch election returns, and the most heated argument would be whether to have cold beer, chili and cornbread in front of the TV or grilled steak and mushrooms and a bottle of wine while listening to the radio.

 

Or, we could all enjoy ourselves and watch a cage match between BigGreenHorse and mountainref on pay-per-view.

 

I am a Pappy and wine kind of guy. If I have the Pappy first, I'm a lot less particular about the wine. That sounds almost biblical. Either chli or steaks are fine. BGH and MR in a cage sounds like a winner.

 

I enjoy civil discussions of politics. One of my oldest and best friends is a "severe" consevative. I'm not sure when he went wrong. We can talk politics all night and the only cross word will be from our wives telling us to knock it off.
