At this point in the season many teams have already finalized their 2013-2014 schedules with 2 year contracts. Some teams are still searching, however, and I wondered if we could compile a list as a resource. If your team or a team you are familiar with is still looking for games, post it here please.

All teams in 3A District 8 will be looking for a game to replace East Ridge, who has elected to drop out of district competition.

 

So, Belfry is now looking for games for 2013-2014 for Week 3 and Week 6

August 23 Lexington Christian

August 30 Jackson Countty

September 13 @ Bath County

September 20 @ Powell County

September 27 Bourbon County

October 4 @ Western Hills

October 11 East Ridge

October 18 Garrard County

October 25 @ McCreary Central

 

 

It's unclear where the games for Morgan County and Lexington Christian will be played. Theory is that Morgan County will be played at Estill County and Lexington Christian will be played at Lexington Christian for 2013 and vice versa in 2014.

Yes for the Pike County Bowl. I'm pretty sure Montgomery County will be in it as well.

On top of that it is a two year contract so they will make that trip twice. Once to play Pikeville, and once to play Belfry.

I doubt it is complete, if anyone is looking to play ER, they should contact Coach Brad Allen.

I hear a western kentucky school merger next year will create a new school in either 5A or 6A.

 

Anyone know about this? How good will the merged school be? Can they compete with the top teams in their division?

Yes. They will be a 6A school. Heath (2A), Reidland (2A) and Lone Oak (4A) are merging to make the new McCracken County High School.

I don't see why they won't. Everything points to automatic success. This new school and program will soon be a Top 3 WKY program in no time. (FYI, I don't count Bowling Green as WKY, it's 'southern KY' when it gets down to it).
