October 17, 201213 yr Author Initially, I could only think of one actor: Billy Bob Thornton. He would obviously have to be a bit more tame than he's been in some other films, but I think he would do really well. I saw some other suggestions on the Facebook page that intrigued me, though. Josh Brolin was one that I thought would do well. And then Morgan Freeman was an interesting suggestion as well. There were a lot of people who said Tom Hanks too.

My first thought: he'd HAVE to be American. No imports...which strikes a LOT of leading men like Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Daniel Craig, Gerard Butler, Jude Law, or Russel Crowe (not that they're necessarily suited for the role anyway). Billy Bob Thornton was the first that came to mind...but he may be too old. Second was Hanks...same deal...probably too old. Matthew McConaughey maybe? I dunno. I'm going to have to think on this a little more.

October 18, 201213 yr Author Quaid is a good one too. Not sure about Edward Norton. I really like him, but just not sure he fits Andy.
