I can't find it. The link on the KHSAA website to the tournament rules page (where this is addressed) is a bad link. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon.

 

It really depends upon the type of 3 way tie. You could have a situation where one of the teams has beaten the other two teams. That would be unusual but possible. More commonly, you have a situation where each of the 3 teams in the tie has beaten one of the other teams and lost to the other one.

 

In the past, it was explained similar to this: In a 3 way tie, if 1 team has beaten the other two teams, then that team gets the spot and the other two spots ARE decided by head to head between them.

 

But in the situation where none of the 3 teams that are tied has beaten the other two then you go to the tie breaker point system, and once you go to the point system you use it to decide all 3 spots.

Whatever you say Hellbird, if it makes you feel better. You have 3 more weeks to drive yourself crazy. There may be a few people in Hebron that still remembers last weeks score. Good luck the rest of the season.

The problem both schools will have is the officiating crew if they are from down south. Those guys are bad, and I mean BAD.

application of (ii) and (iii) results in one team being declared
