Reds announce playoff rotation

That was my question. What did he have to do to go game 1 or 2? If they're going 3 man which looks like a possibility why would Arroyo go twice and not Latos?

That's a great question.

I can't answer that question. My theory is that Dusty feels more comfortable with Latos pitching at home than he does Arroyo.

They don't mention torn elbow ligament either. I guess your opinion is that it is the same as dead arm also.

First you scoffed at the possibility that Cueto and Bailey could have had tired arms. I showed you that pitchers do get dead arms. You then balked at the idea that Bailey could have got thru a dead arm without rest. I then showed you that pitchers say you just have to pitch thru it. You still don't buy it because you're entitled to your opinion.

My stance hasn't changed at all throughout the entire process. Nice try though...

Cueto has been bad in September his entire career. You'd think dead arm would show up in other months too...

What are you talking about? I never said your stance had changed. As a matter of fact the point was your stance hadn't changed even though I showed you that pitchers do get tired or dead arms, and they don't need rest to get rid of it. It's obviously not your arm that's dead this morning.:lol:

I never said it was dead arm. I said it was a possibility. The same with Bailey. Either way, my point was I think it's stupid to bring back either Cueto or Arroyo back on 3 days rest. Cueto more so than Arroyo.

Is game 5 on the moon?

Homer pitching lights out (again) tonight would make Dusty's decision to leave him out of the #2 slot in the rotation all the more difficult to accept.

Bronson seems like a great guy. If I were able to choose someone off the Reds' roster to drink a beer with (maybe play guitar with), it would be Bronson. I would not, however, put him in the #2 slot.

If the Nationals win this afternoon, I would pass on pitching Homer tonight. Save him for whatever eventuality may arise in the Playoffs.

Totally agree.

If the Reds are down 2-1, you'd rather Homer pitch than Cueto?

I couldn't disagree more.

I don't mind Arroyo so much. I do agree, that if Homer gets a start, it should be on the road.

It would be a home game, so not Homer.

I'd like to have saw Latos go in game 2, especially if it's on the West Coast.

How did you get that out of my post? I clearly stated I don't like the idea of Bailey pitching at home or Cueto going on 3 days rest. I've been saying for a while now that I wanted to have Latos in Game 1, and Bailey in game 2 on the road.

If they go with a 4 man rotation Cueto would pitch Game 5.
