NFL players are tweeting the commissioner's office phone number. I just called it. It is the legit number.

The fans. They stopped showing up to baseball games after the strike and they haven't had a problem since (Steroid era not withstanding). If the fans take a stand the lockout is over, period.

I'm willing to boycott watching games.

I'll still be putting my fantasy football lineups in but I'll boycott the games. I'm all for that.

Roger Goodell – No, he just works for the owners.

The Owners – Partially yes, it is in their DNA not to back down from a fight. They will fight as long as it doesn’t hurt their bank accounts to much.

The Real refs – Partially yes, it seems they are not backing down from wanting a fully funded pension. Is there any other profession that gives part time employees a fully funded pension? But as I see it now, the referees have a lot of leverage because the fans are on their side (never thought that would ever happen!!).

The loyal fans – No, the tickets are, for the most part, already sold. I don’t think the owners care if you show up, they already cashed the check.

I would have voted for both Goodell and the owners if I could have but since Goodell is the face of all this I blame him. The owners don't want to pay a little more cash to the refs to get them. If the packers had an owner I'd wonder how he would feel about that. How much money could they potentially lose from this game. It could be the difference between a road playoff game and home playoff game.

1. It can't be Goodell, he doens't have the power to end this.

2. I think the owner's probably have some fault but couldn't vote for 2 choices.

3. The bulk of this is on the refs. They are part time employees making 6 figures for god sake. Now they want a pension? Give me a break.

4. I'm loyal to my team, not supporting them is hurting the wrong party.

Why shouldn't they get a pension? Part time in name only. I'd argue that from August to January they are full time employees.

They work part of the year, and only part of the week for that part of the year. One of their demands was to remain part time so you can't argue now that they are full time.

Dumb on their part. What is their motivation for staying part time? I'm certain they put in more than 40 hours a week. Seems stupid to me.

I'm on board. :thumb:

Hey Purple: It's Obama's Fault! :D

Someone had to say it.

@HubbuchNYP It would cost NFL teams roughly $100K each 2 meet 120 referees demands. Goodell’s salary alone costs teams roughly $340K each

Because they don't work 40 close to 40 hours a week. Most if not all have regular jobs. Ed "biceps" Hochuli is a lawyer. Mike Carey founded and owns a company that manufacturers ski gear.
