CovCath with 2 losses should not be #2. How in the world did South Oldham get votes they are an hour away from NKY.

Can someone please move this to the highschool football thread thank you.

Never mind.

I was curious of this too. If Pendleton or Bracken doesn't qualify as NKY, no way Oldham should.

So SK/Cooper would beat HHS and Cincinnati La Salle? :ohbrother:

Common opponents

Cooper ..beat Boone by a score of 10-0 and Campbell County 27-16

CovCath beat Boone by a score of 34-0 and Campbell County 37-0

Simon K...Beat Beechwood by a score of 21-17 without the Tigers best player

CovCath. Beat Beechwood by a score of 41-6 with the Tigers best player

So tell me again why CovCath shouldn't be ranked higher than SK and Cooper?

SK could beat CovCath! I would love to see SK play CovCath or Highlands.

I am sure all SK has to do is make a call.

Both CovCath and Highlands have a opening next year.

Hopefully it happens.

Don't forget SK had Beechwood at home, CCH played at Beechwood. I said earlier this year CCH would beat SK by 30. I still believe it.

While I don't doubt at all CCH would beat SK... Playing Beechwood @ Beechwood is almost like a home game. They are about 3 minutes down the road.

Home field is home field. Many teams in NKY are within 15 minutes or so of each other. Still gives an edge to the home team.

I guess South Oldham gets votes because they are in all Northern KY district (with Cooper, Conner, Scott and Grant County). That might be one of the toughest district's in Northern KY....

I would assume that Pendleton and Bracken would be eligible to receive votes if one of the coaches felt they were worthy of votes.

Ask Ryle if the home field means anything. :D
