I guess South Oldham gets votes because they are in all Northern KY district (with Cooper, Conner, Scott and Grant County). That might be one of the toughest district's in Northern KY....

 

I would assume that Pendleton and Bracken would be eligible to receive votes if one of the coaches felt they were worthy of votes.

I agree with thus. Another note that I would add is if they played more nky teams they would be in the top 10 on here. They have a decent team and would beat Lloyd and Beechwood if not more of the 5-10 listed.

SK would beat both next year! SK returns a bunch of starters and kids with playing time plus their stud QB. Highlands and CovCath lose most of their starters and their starting QBs.

 

Yes because it's that simple :thumb:. I'm sure time will freeze in Ft. Thomas and Park Hills and all of the Juniors and Sophomores at CCH and HHS won't grow, develop and get better. Do you know how many times HHS has had to rebuild. They don't seem to have any trouble doing it. With CCH, you are just starting to see the output of their feeder program that was started a few years ago. They willl start develop a solid machine just like HHS. I think we are seeing it already. I believe the sophomore class is the first of the Middle School program and they are impressive.

 

You may want to look at what these teams actually have playing and also coming up. I don't think either of them loses a large number of starters and they both have excellent Junior and Sophomore classes. Their JV teams would throw up significant points against many varsity defenses.

 

Not sure what the Birds have in QBs, but the history is that they have always managed to develop a QB that is equal to the program. CCH has a couple of options. The Wagner (sp?) kid looks pretty darn good. A little strength training and he's going to be a good QB. I also believe Dressman is capable of stepping into the QB role and doing a great job.

 

Until SK schedules them, it doesn't matter. So statements like this are pretty stupid. Why don't you win the District and Region this year before you go opining about next year.

Drew Houliston is the HHS QB in waiting - he was listed as one of the top 50 Juniors in Greater Cincinnati.

 

I totally forgot about Dressman - I was referring to Wagner. CovCath has a choice next year.

 

McCoy and Bir are really good - but neither team will miss a beat at the postition next year.

Not really, RE concentrated on one team. UK changes by the week. At various times in the past 2 years it's been HHS, CCH, Dixie, Ryle, Conner, Boone, CC, NCC, Beechwood and now it's Cooper. Oh well. :idunno:

Nope, SK could beat neither this year or next, but in case you wanna talk to Coach Marksberry the Birds have a couple of open dates next year. I hope the call comes b/c I guarantee the Birds will show!

 

Sure, Highlands & Cov. Cath. are busy playing LaSalle & Elder, but don't wanna play SK. Makes about as much sense as your Top 10.
