We retired the series after '98 but we went out swinging. Closest KY competition they had that year and we almost pulled off the upset.

Officiating wasn't bad to be honest, though I didn't understand Ryle picking up a first when they went for it in the second halfon 4th down and lost yards, perhaps I had a bad vantage point.

 

Yea 4 and 1. Lose yards and still get a first down and no measurement. They can have it though the score board was looking better for SK.

Pretty close on my total yardage estimate. Bowling and Krallman dropped Ryle for -20 on their second to last drive. Bowling is phenomenal, the kid is on every play. Now if I can only convince coach to put #11 out wide we'll be on the same page.

Congrats to SK. However, The big line high powered offense only scored 20. Did SK play their JV after half time?

 

SK had three empty trips in the red zone and Kuntz missed on a sideline pattern to Huesman that would have been an easy 6. There was a very heavy breeze to the north that contributed to some passing inaccuracy. It very easily could have been 40 - 0.

Brenan Kuntz was 10/15 81 yards I think the wind was a factor on a couple of passes. He should have a better game next week. Ryle's defense is always tough.

He missed a chance at an easy 50 yard TD to Huesman. He just put to much zing on it with the wind behind his back.

Huesman would've walked in to the endzone on that pass. Wind definitely got a hold of that one.
