Nope, I'm looking at the Monday edition right now and it had South vs. DeSales.

They may not be the best team, but they are not "a long way" from it. I would ask you to elaborate by naming all the teams you think are better, since using the phrase "a long way" denotes that you must believe either that there are a whole slew of teams better or that you don't think South should be ranked, or both.

I would say right now you can throw these teams

Lafayette, Henry Clay, South Laurel, Scott County, PRP, Shelby County, Eastern, Elizabethtown, Covington Catholic, John Hardin, Holmes, Warren Central, and Jeffersontown (with 6-8 others close behind)

All in about the same category. A chance to win the state title - yes - but there's still a lot of work to do. In saying a long way, I was meaning just work for South Laurel as a team. They have a lot of work to do before they are considered the best in Kentucky - and I think even coach would say that after watching his team last night.

LIT is a difficult place for most teams out of the Louisville area to win. It would appear that the home schools have a slight advantage in several ways. At any rate great win for DeSales. South will be there when the time comes.

OK. That makes things clear. Your prior post made it sound like you were dismissing SL as not worthy of being in the top 10.

Pendleton County and Mason County both need to be on that list, especially with the two 9th region teams in there.

The CARDS will be just fine.
