Who wins and why?

Bir will have a big night of passing. Birds will have a big night running. I'm calling this a track meet. With McCoy looking very sharp, the Birds won't be stopped by any defense in NKY or 4a for that matter. You cannot stop this offense. The only way to beat Highlands is to score more than them. Birds 42-28

CovCath plays pretty darn good D though! Could be a perfect storm!

Birds should win but it will be a barn burner.

Birds 28

CCH 24

Cant believe it took so long to kick this off. Ought to be a dandy. Is this Cov. Caths year? This will be a big measuring stick.

Only thing perfect after next friday night will be the Birds record. This offense is too much. I don't see it anywhere near as close as you expect. McCoy, Harris, Hayes, and Seidl will make swiss cheese out of the colonels D.

I am going with Highlands because:

> Highlands is 22-4 against Cov Cath since 1995.

> 3 of Cov Cath's 4 wins in that span were by less than a touchdown

> The 4 wins during that span were by a combined 23 points.

> Only 1 of those wins was during the regular season.

> Highlands is 17-3 against the Colonels since the mud bowl.

Big whoop.

None of this has anything to do with the kids on the field this coming friday night. This is a ridiculous argument. Birds will win next week b/c they are simply the better team. Bluebird history has nothing to do with that.

If the Birds can get pressure on Bir they will win. If he can pick them apart then it will be a long night..

I like the first two sentences.

I am going with Highlands because:

None of those are relevant.

It is a good predictor though. You could have said the same thing last year, and the year before, etc. I also think Highlands is going to win because Highlands has better athletes and better coaches. McCoy's versatility, Harris' power game, and the depth on defense will put separation between the teams. Cov Cath will have to have a very well established run game to win. Lastly, Highlands is the home team.

Has HHS faced a good passing QB yet this year? They looked a bit susceptible to the pass against Boyle.
