Giants need to find some help on the O-line and at corner. If Prince Amukamara is out for very long then they are in trouble. And I'm not sure he's the answer if he even comes back.

Pretty impressive to win on the road while having 13 penalties, against the SB champs.

It's week 1. Regroup and get ready for Tampa. Hopefully Prince Amukamara will be healthy or the Giants will try out Jayron Hosley. Michael Coe and Justin Tryon need to stay on the bench/special teams.

With the toughest schedule in the league (based on last season's results) they can't afford to wait until week 4 to turn it up. The secondary was horrible.

Agreed, but all I can hope for is that they move on and win next week vs. Tampa Bay.

 

And the secondary looked horrible, mostly because it was a 4th string corner (Coe) starting. When he got hurt, a 5th string corner (Tryon) came in. They lost their starter for the second straight year (Terrell Thomas, out for the season) and Prince Amukamara got injured in the pre-season. Hopefully Prince can come back and do a little better than the two that played tonight. If not, I hope they give their rookie (Jayron Hosely) a shot. He can't do any worse than Tryon/Coe.

 

Like I've already mentioned, the Giants defense was playing well before Keith Rivers left the game. I've read that he possibly injured his hamstring, and from the little I know about him as a Bengal, that is not surprising. When he left the game, the Cowboys running game really took off. Hope he comes back next week.
