Cincinnati in Issac's Sites This Weekend

Featured Replies

The weather report just said that the Cincinnati/NKY area could see up to 7.61 inches of rain in the three day period from Saturday through Monday. Looks like the WEBN Fireworks may be in major jeapordy this year. But more importantly, flooding could be a serious issue with this system.

Somebody needs to pick up the red phone and get nWo back on the job!

This sucks, it's going to ruin the long weekend and parties.

Last night they said 1 to 3 inches throughout the entire weekend as it was failing apart rather quickly.

I remember last year they called for rain and when it poured before the fireworks you saw hundreds of people running with small children for safety. I was shocked how many people took little kids to the wall knowing it was going to rain like they were told for days leading up to the event

I knew as soon as it changed to hitting Louisiana that we were screwed. Saturday is nothing but football watching with the guys from noon until the last game ends. Figure we will try to make the best of it and just consider it a kickoff to college football rather than the usual end of summer celebration.

Hey Birdsfan, which day(s) and how many outages do you think we'll have in The Fort?

Darn. The fireworks are the most ridiculous, God-awful thing in this area anyways.

All three days...with ground-zero positioned somewhere near your house. Once they begin trying to fix the damage though, the actual number of outages will likely increase substantially.

That will make up for our rainfall shortage for the year, which stands at 7+ inches.

Channel 12 just said 1-4 inches starting tonight

The worst is during the winter.:madman:

As I have posted on here many times about the weather, we have the God awfullest weathermen in this area, You just take what they say and we get the opposite. For us to have gotten anything off of this storm , it would have had to come directly out of the South, it has done spun off to the West and North and coming in that way which means we will get absolutely nothing, The Ohio River will block it off just like it does snow every year. Can anyone ever remember having a day where it just rained all day? That hasn't happened for many a year

I would rather watch paint dry
