August 30, 201214 yr Because they started two wars and cut taxes in the middle of them? I thought when you went to war you had "meatless Mondays" and those kinds of things so you could pay for it. The Republicans cut taxes AFTER going to war. CRAZY I didn't realize we spent $10 trillion on the wars. Learn something every day. Inflation must be getting really bad too since under Obama 1 1/2 wars has cost more in 3 1/2 years then 2 wars did in 8 years under Bush.
