Are you talking about the pass that Dalton overthrew with no one within 10 yards of Green? If that is the pass, that is all on Dalton. Green did not miss it. Dalton was terrible last night.

I diagree, I feel like during a real game...AJ Green stretches out and makes the catch. I believe Dalton released the ball before the defender slipped, so he had to place it where he did to not risk underthrowing it. He didn't know the defender would trip over his own legs.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Yes, Dalton did throw the ball just as the defender slipped but it was an overthrow and no receiver on this planet catches that ball.

Even if you think he could somehow catch that ball, it still should not be called a miss by Green. A miss is a ball that hits you in the hands in stride with no extra effort needed to make the catch.

Green Bay still needs a lot of help on the O-line. They are probably two or three years away from winning another Super Bowl.

Dalton did not have much time last night to make too many plays. Several times GB had players coming off the edge untouched.

I went to the game and it felt like watching a great team play an okay team.

I think that's exactly what it was. The Bengals are still a year off at least, IMO.

Dalton may suffer from the Sophomore Blues.....he was off target most of the night.

If the bold is true, then the Bengals are really in trouble because the Packer O-line manhandled the Bengals D-line all night. Last year, the Bengals had one of the best D-lines in the NFL IMO and it was the key to their defense. They looked nowhere near that good last night.

Huh? The defensive line actually did a good job putting pressure on Rodgers last night, however what they didn't do well was staying in their lanes on the pass rush. They went after him like they would a pure drop back passes, however Rodgers is not only a great passer but pretty darn fast. The times they did stay in their lanes, is the the times Rodgers was off on some of this throws and why he did throw 10 incompletions in the first half and an interception. Just the coupld of plays they got out of their lanes killed them.

To much is made from this one game. Just the week before Dalton and the offense looked pretty darn good against the Falcons. The same Falcons team that held the Ravens 1st team offense to all three and outs the week before when they played them. Dalton no doubt looked bad night, as the did the whole offense from the line to the receivers, etc. However besides last night the offense has been looking good, so I take last night as a good learning experience for them more than as a sign of bad things to come. Until last night Dalton has looked good.

Bengals struggled on offense but keep in mind they didn't have their top 2 running backs. Pre season football sucks.

The Bengals looked like they will have trouble getting to .500 this year. They were dominated on both lines. It was ugly. In the regular season, that game ends up about 40-10 in favor of the Packers.

They looked bad only once so far this preseason and it was against the best team in the league IMO. The offense and defense looked good against the Jets and Falcons. I haven't checked the Bengals schedule in a while, but i dont think they play the defending super bowl champs every week. If they went less than .500 it would be an extremely dissapointing year.
