Owsley at Lee County 1/10 Predictions

Featured Replies

District rivals Lee and Owsley square off again in Beattyville Tuesday night. Lee won easily the first time over a battered and weary Owls team. Any reason to think the rematch will be any different? What do you think? I say Lee by 15.

With this rival game you never know what will happen. Lee won at Owsley for the first time in several years earlier in the season . The Bobcats are playing as good as any team in the mountains and I would have to give them the edge.

Owsley is a little banged up right now with Congleton and Neeley having nagging injuries. This one will probably be over early.

I think they need to rest those boys a little till Robert comes back and them make a major push against Estill and Powell to get some district wins.

I think you may be right LCBF. I don't think the idea of being the 4 seed and having to face Lee County in the first round at home is a good one. But ease up on that "push against Estill" talk. I support your Bobcats. Just kidding.

I personally think that Lee would rather Owsley get the 3 seed rather than than the 4 seed. Owsley with Robert is way more dangerous than Powell on any day

Lee is playing pretty good ball right now. They should win this one big.

Lee continues to play well, and gets the W!

Lee Co by 10....

I hear the Smith boy could return to the Owls at this game. The Neeley kid has messed up his thumb, and possibly may not even be able to play. It will take Smith and Neeley, as well a a good game from Tre Congleton to beat the Bobcats.

I think it will take a stellar effort from Trey Congleton to stop Tyler Rich IMO. He didn't really have a good game in Booneville and look for him to really take it inside against Congleton. I don't think Trey has the ability to stop him...IMO

Robert Smith will help the Owsley a lot, but this maybe being his first game back I don't think it will make that much difference. Maybe on down the road it will who knows. I say Lee by 15 +.

I'm thinking he won't be back for this one. Help us out Professor. I think his first game back is against Estill.

Smith is not eligible to play until Jan 13th, which is Friday against Estill County.

Neeley has an injured thumb, I'm not sure whether he will be able to play or not.

What happened to the thumb. Does it affect the shooting at all?
