That is pretty bad, although the Magic said it would take other teams taking on the contract of either Hedo or J Rich, wasn't likely they were going to get rid of both.

 

I had thought about a scenario in which Orlando sent Dwight and Hedo and Brooklyn sending Lopez, and Wallace. Still not the best, but better than what is being proposed. Has their ever been a situation where a team got such little value in return for their star player in a trade? Denver practically raped NYK, even though the Knicks weren't said to have the most appeasing roster to work with. What Denver got for Melo is head and shoulders above this.

I have no clue why Humphries would accept a 1 year deal.

If Stern wants to start vetoing unfair trades he should start with this one. Orlando is getting robbed. They get a bunch of terrible players and late round draft picks. Seems like a good package for the best center in the NBA.

Brooks is a bad dude. Really think he can be a legit NBA scorer at the 2 if put in the right situation...
