I really try my hardest to avoid rumors, but I can confirm BKN was able to acquire 1RD pick needed to complete trade for Dwight Howard (1/2)

..it can still fall apart/most likely will, so don't write home just yet -- despite being told "get ready ... 2morrow". Dwightmare tonight.

An 11 or 13 player 3 team trade is nuts. Sounds like it will go through though.

If this trade get's finalized I will be very surprised...Looking forward to waking up in the morning to see what's going on

Sources: Magic, Nets and Cavaliers near completion of Dwight Howard trade. Deal will include 11 players, cash and multiple draft picks.

Ironic the Cavs are helping a star player get out of town.

Hearing something could be done by end of business today. Reading Orlando is going to go around the room one more time and take final offers and if nothing better comes along this one might get done.

Orlando might have the worst GM in sports if they take the trade I saw some talking about.

Back to sleep, every1. Dwightmare continues. RT @MagicInsider don't expect a deal involving Dwight Howard today. ORL in no hurry whatsoever.

Again, if I'm the Magic, I hold out until Dwight expands his options beyond Brooklyn. They can get a bad deal anytime.

My thoughts exactly. Joe Johnson or Brook Lopez and picks? Are you serious? You have to wait it out.

Howards killing them though by not agreeing to an extension. Deals are no where near market value because teams aren't going to pay a lot for a guy they only get to keep a year.

Proposed Dwight Howard deal to Nets could contain more than 10 players - Yahoo! Sports

In the proposed deal, Howard, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark would be sent to Brooklyn, and the Magic would receive the Nets' Brook Lopez, Damion James, Sheldon Williams, Cleveland's Luke Walton and three future first-round picks, sources said. Cleveland would receive Orlando's Quentin Richardson, Brooklyn's Sundiata Gaines, Kris Humphries (on a one-year guaranteed deal), a first-round pick and $3 million from the Nets. Brooklyn also would send Brooks to a fourth team to get them an additional first-round pick to send to the Magic.

^ That is horrible. They don't even get rid of Hedo and his terrible contract.

That is pretty bad, although the Magic said it would take other teams taking on the contract of either Hedo or J Rich, wasn't likely they were going to get rid of both.

I had thought about a scenario in which Orlando sent Dwight and Hedo and Brooklyn sending Lopez, and Wallace. Still not the best, but better than what is being proposed. Has their ever been a situation where a team got such little value in return for their star player in a trade? Denver practically raped NYK, even though the Knicks weren't said to have the most appeasing roster to work with. What Denver got for Melo is head and shoulders above this.
