The guys from @Sportsbook_com think Dwight Howard is going to Brooklyn. Nets odds to win the title dropped from 100/1 to 60/1.

Looks like its just Joe Johnson to the Nets for now.

A guy I follow on twitter points out there's no way BKN can pay Johnson, Wallace, D Will, Kidd, and Howard. He's probably right.

Just adding pieces for Dwight. I think the Nets are happy with just DWill and Dwight after the trade.

Dwight isn't going to Brooklyn. I've been saying all year, I think D Will and D12 would end up in Dallas. If D Will likes Joe Johnson, I guess he could end up in BKN and D 12 could go elsewhere. If I'm D Will, though, I'm saying peace to Brooklyn and Joe Johnson's 6 billion dollar contract. JJ is not only making more money than D Will himself, he's cashing in more than Lebron, D Wade, Bosh, and right under what Melo is making, etc. Not much room left to sign important pieces.

Or use the cap room and sign a true point guard.

Jack averaged 16/4/6, while making 5 million. I'd say that's a bargain.

Orlando isn't taking Joe Johnson. BKN screwed up.

Howard isn't going to the Nets if the JJ trade happens. They aren't getting pieces to ship to Orlando either. I expect Howard to quickly expand that "list".

They weren't signing JJ to ship him to Orlando. Brooklyn simply wanted Joe Johnson after they realized they probably weren't going to get D12.

Joe Johnson deal is done. Completed...Joe Johnson and Gerald Wallace are making a combined approx 28 million. Just about 3 million less than D Wade/Lebron. Have fun with those guys Brooklyn.

ATL has traded Marvin Williams to UTA for Devin Harris

Saying the Magic pretty much had been stone walling the Nets in discussions for a Howard trade so they opted to make a move and try to get Williams to stay instead of trying to wait it out another long painful year. Orlando wasn't going to trade Howard where he wanted to be traded, especially since Brooklyn didn't have the best offer. They had to make a move and did. Johnson is not worth the money, but a lineup of D Will, JJ, Wallace, whoever, Lopez isn't shabby, with Brooks as a scoring 6 man off the bench.

Kevin Durant on twitter speaking out to all the FAs:

"Oklahoma City is a great spot to play basketball just in case FA's forgot"

Wow..

Deron Williams has agreed to re-sign with the Nets after they acquired Joe Johnson via trade today, per league sources.

That's pretty big. The Nets will be decent next year.Dallas is in big trouble.

I'd say 3rd or 4th best team wouldn't be stretching it. After the Heat, Bulls...you have Knicks, Pacers, Boston, and Philly...Nets fit in there somewhere.
