The class already has some star power with the top few players.

And at this point I am only ranking the top 15. I will add a few names that were close to making my listing of top 15.

With that said, I know there are others. In fact, I haven’t seen all of the Ballard kids that I heard were solid, but I’m ONLY RANKING KIDS I HAVE SEEN.

 

 

 

But for now, here are the top 15 and a few names to watch:

 

• 1. Camron Justice, Knott County Central, 6-2, G – He plays so mature and so heady. Loved his game from the first time I saw him. He’s going to be special.

• 2. Raymond Spalding, Trinity, 6-9, F – He’s injured now but has already drawn calls from the staffs at Louisville and Kentucky.

• 3. Jeremiah Tisdale, Henry Clay, 6-1, G – Was the best player at State AAU in his division. Very steady guard.

• 4. JaQualis Matlock, Hopkinsville, 6-5, F – When he becomes more consistent on both ends, Matlock could move up a few spots.

• 5. Matt Rose, Lexington Christian, 6-6, F – He does a little bit of everything. So solid.

• 6. Justin Miller, Ohio County, 6-6, C

• 7. Jeremiah Bell, Butler, 5-9, G

• 8. Evan Hall, Knott County Central, 6-5, F

• 9. Isaiah Collier, Pulaski Southwestern, 6-4, F

• 10. Shon Wright, Lafayette, 6-6, C

• 11. Zac Baxter, South Laurel, 6-4, G

• 12. Simon Christon, Knott County Central, 6-3, F

• 13. Sam Sergeant, Apollo, 5-11, G

• 14. Nick Coffey, Russell County, 6-5, F

• 15. Michael Stafford, Trinity, 6-0, G

Hagan Tyler of Boyle County and Ronnie Carson of East Jessamine are two more kids that I think deserve mention.

 

Jacob Conway is a nice player. He has a bright future ahead of himself at Lincoln County.

 

 

The 12the Region is in good hands. All three of these boys will be great ball players.

Jalen Perry is the best 2015 I have seen from the state. Going to be a very good one...

Oh man I hope not. I depend on him to get the word out on kids, not just in KY but also Ind. Keep us updated GT!!!

I agree that the Macdonald boy could very well be mentioned. Last year he took solid minutes away from Schulte who was on the 2014 list. That being said, Schulte has had a solid off season which will not be a favorable situation for teams that have to face these 2 big men side by side this year up on the hill.

 

Bo Schu is the 2015 stud from Cov Cath. Very athletic player. Misses a lot of AAU for baseball.

Haven't seen any of these kids so I can't pass judgement, but I'd assume James Bolden of Holmes will be on this list (or should be now?) eventually. It's rare that a freshman plays as much as he did last year at Holmes.

 

Maybe GT can clarify but I'd think that him playing with AOP could be why Jody hasn't seen him?

Solid players. Not top 15. The best 2015 kid when it's all said and done will be James Bolden from Holmes.

Bolden, Schu and McDonald should have all been at least mentioned as "Others just missing the cut". They are each very good and will be big contributors to their teams this season. I am very surprised that they are not mentioned at all.

That is why itis important to get out into the state and play teams from Lexington, Louisville, etc. It gives your good players exposure and also allows them to be challanged by the best in the state. Hopefully these NKY teams will do that.
