You guys should go the NHL route...call it a tie if you only have one beer. I don't drink but this thread is a hoot.

Of course, then it might have to be called the Chicago Blackhawks challenge. :idunno:

Well, the west Coast trip CRUSHED ME. I left at 10-1 and come home at 11-11. My stomach has swelled up pretty good.

I took a decent loss on Saturday and took a freaking two beer moving loss on Sunday. 24-6 right now. I really need to cut my grass today so we will leave today up-in-the-air.

Can't let this thread die off yet.

I'm currently sitting at 17-13, expecting to pick up a win tonight and go 18-13 for the month. Not to bad I guess.

Anyone going to keep going, or calling it quits after this month?

I'm definitely going to keep it up. I think it's interesting to see how much I drink though I don't really plan to do anything with it.

I was thinking about maybe trying to finish out the year, so a sixth month span. I'm sure I will eventually lose interest, but I'm goint to keep going too.

I begin training for the Tough Mudder today. I'll keep going b/c it should become easier not to drink when I have to run the next day.

I figure there are a few of us. As long as someone revives it every few days it won't be terribly difficult to keep up with it.

If I have learned anything about the running and triathlon community, everyone drinks beer (and coffee, except me). :D At the finish line of every race and not a better way to celebrate after a 3 hour day hitting the pavement.

I'm done. I don't expect to ever be better than .500 in any month. I have a bunch of 1-2 beer nights. If anything I am consistent.

I ALWAYS have a post-race beer. As you said, no better way to celebrate. Most often I throw a pizza in there too.

So true.....so true. sad.gif

(I took the liberty of editing your post back to what it said before you realized what it said. You are most welcome.)

I think we should tweak the rules. If you drink more than 4 beers or 2 shots then it should be a loss. Kind of sucks knowing I am 1-2 this month and have had 3 beers since Wednesday. That's wack.

I'm on a 6 game losing streak with no end in sight. I enjoy my "after-work" beer or two way too much to pass it up.
