I actually retracted that because I wondered if there was a dad.

 

Sadly, many brides do not have their real dad at their wedding. However, they don't then stage a concert.

 

It doesn't change my viewpoint but I shouldn't have posted it without knowing the story.

That's all fine and dandy, but to say she was narcissistic for doing it is simply you judging somebody without knowing the person, or the circumstances at all. A little surprising coming from you.

I give it 2 years. That was all about her, not her love for him. How many cameras and camera angles can we get on her singing this? Great voice, using her wedding as a platform to launch a career?

How's it a given? I take it that you believe that those who sing solos in church are narcissistic. I also take it that you believe that you, and your bride were narcissistic if you had a church wedding.

I thought that tradition was that the wedding was all about the bride anyway. The honeymoon,,,,,,not so much.

Bingo. Big difference between this and singing to your soon-to-be-spouse. I was at a wedding many years ago, where the groom, a REALLY quiet and shy guy, sang a George Strait song to his bride...not a dry eye in the house. That was cool. THIS was not.
