What problem do you have with it?

Besides the narcissism?

Besides the narcissism?

I don't see the narcissism at all.

So tell me Clyde, how is a bride singing to her groom, being narcissistic?

No joke, NO JOKE...I went to one of my coworkers' weddings about 5 years ago. Both the bride and groom were in their late 40's, and they were both on marriage number two, so traditional wedding formalities apparently went out the window. The bride stood up at the altar, and the GROOM serenaded everyone as HE walked up the aisle to HER. Not only that...but he was singing "Babe" by Styx. I almost wet myself trying to keep from exploding with laughter.

Groom was (and still is) the lead singer in a Cincinnati classic and big-hair rock cover band called "Euphoria". Here's their Facebook page.

Not gonna lie...I think it's pretty darn self-indulgent myself.

Not only do you need the attention of being a bride, wearing a big white dress, having everyone watch you walk down the aisle and get married and celebrate your wedding and bring you presents...but you also need to make them watch you perform too.

You've oversimplified it.

You've left out the grand entrance.

You've left out her staging a concert.

A wedding is about two people becoming one.

She 100% made this about her ergo narcissism.

And there you have it. Couldn't agree more.

I 100% disagree. Every bride has a grand entrance. She was simply singing of her love for her husband.

I guess I just don't see it that way. She can sing of her love at the reception if need be. I think this is about ego. Also, for what it's worth, I'd want to sink into the floor and die if I were the groom.

OK. We disagree.

Sing at the reception.

I hope Dad enjoyed missing the chance to walk his bride down the aisle.

Maybe you should have read the story before making such a cold hearted comment.

Carr told "Inside Edition" last week that she knew she'd be walking down the aisle solo after her father died during her teenage years. "I wanted [Devin] to know how much I loved him, and how perfect he is to me. I thought the best way to do that would be to sing to him as I walked down the aisle," Carr said.
