Twins @ Reds Series 6/22 thru 6/24/2012

And he is being sued for $18 million under the federal Alien Tort Claims Act and an anti-torture law. Some physical issues (sore back and who knows what else) sprinkle in the off field issues. It all adds up.

Tiger had physical problems. Pile on the stress of his off the course issues...

Wow, all these excuses. Chapman has one pitch that he can get over the plate. the fast ball, thats it. End of story.

Hind sight is 20/20, but why take Leake out until he gets in trouble.

Bases loaded ,Mr. Hype at the plate, lazy fly ball, inning over. The Reds need more than one guy in the clutch (Votto).

No need to lineup for Reds post season tickets, with Dusty at the helm and Votto the only player that can hit when the heat is on, chances are the Reds will be watching the playoffs from their living rooms.

Don't care about Tiger. I'm sure some of the off the field issues have been a distraction, but it shouldn't result in your fastball losing 4-5 MPH.

Ok. Forget Tiger. Insert Quentin Jammer, Josh Hamilton, PacMan, Dez Bryant. Gotta deal with the whole person.

There is no reason to put any blame on Dusty. I despise him but if you can't use your closer in a one run game on four days rest you can't ever use him.

Don't blame Dusty at all for this one. I stated I would have let Leake go back out to start the 9th, but you can't fault Dusty with the decision he made to go with Chapman.

Jim Leyland runs Verlander back out in the 9th with a 3-2 lead instead of going with his closer. Let's see how his decision goes.

BGP may need to bring in its closer, EKUBUM, to start the upcoming Reds vs. Brewer thread.

You had a sweep as well. I'm confident running you back out there.

Verlander gets the job done. The Reds maintain their 1 game lead over the Pirates. The Pirates go on the road to start a 4 game series against the Phillies, and then go to St. Louis for 3.

Well, we went back to back.

EKUBUM takes out the Brewers, I will prep for the Giants. :D

Yep. The man probably has stuff to do. Hopefully he comes out of hiding and starts the next one.

Bruce thrown out at the plate by 30 feet plus, what was Berry thinking?

There were 2 outs and the way the Red's were hitting he probably didn't think they might get a better chance to score.

Mauer with a double on a good AB.

Really thought Chapman had Mauer struck out but he didn't get the call on the high fastball.

Here comes the King of Pop Up. He'll probably hit it on the ground now. :irked:

Notice how Burton walked Frazier and walked Rolen after the sacrifice and threw 8 balls in 12 pitches and Heisey swings at the 1st pitch. Go figure why he popped out.
