You probably drooled all over yourself when you saw that didn't you? I guess you're a Frazier hater like you are a BP hater?

No Frazier isn't lazy and doesn't have a me first attitude.

I want to apologize to Redsnation. I take the blame for the fact that Latos has sucked royally. In my lifetime I've only been excited about two pitching acquisitions the Reds have made. The first one was Ryan Dempster, whom I appropriately named after his tenure here, Ryan Dumpster. He was awful and a bust no less. Now, I was borderline giddy about Latos, and for that I offer my sincerest apologies to my fellow Reds fans. I solemnly vow to never be excited about a pitching acquisition made by the Reds for the rest of my life. Even if my son was to end up pitching for my Redlegs, I swear an oath not to be remotely excited about it.:irked:

Latos is a mess tonight. The Reds have won the last 5 games he's pitched though.

And his era was 4.80 in those 5 games. Thank God the Reds scored some runs in those games. His last 5 starts before today he pitched 30 innings and allowed 16 earned runs.

It still amazes me how a lazy player can play defense like nobody's business.

I was okay with the Reds getting Latos but from the beginning I said that they gave up way too much talent to get him.

Lazy boy Phillips really dogged it on that double didn't he?

There's a lot more to the game than defense. He's a great defensive player and honestly he's gotten better about it not having those lazy moments over the past couple years.

There was a play about a week ago where he was to lazy to come get a ball on a high hopper on the big hop and he chose to wait back and short hop it. It cost the Reds an out.

Pretty easy to hustle when you see a ball go between the OF'ers legs. Watch him next time he hits a pop up to the OF or a ground ball right at somebody. He makes no effort to beat them out, especially double play balls. You can disagree with me all you want. I'm not the only one who complains about him being lazy.

I have to believe he has taken away a lot more hits than he has cost them outs over the years he has been here.

He hustled out of the box on that one or he NEVER would have scored on that play.

Go back a couple years and figure out why BP wouldn't even talk to the media if John Fay was around...

Not defending Latos because he was terrible but if Heisey makes that diving catch it would have been a different inning.

John Fay is not paying Brandon Phillips the Reds are. If they had a real problem with his play would they have given him a big contract?

Agreed, Stubbs probably makes that catch easily.
