Malichicrunch brought up the topic in the best by position thread....

What say you?

From the other thread....

Good lists. I'll go with post#1.

How about an all time best dunkers by position:

PG-Spud Webb

SG-MJ

SF-Struggled here. Dominique Wilkens/Dr.J ?

PF-Shawn Kemp

C-Dwight Howard.

Other names to consider- Shaq, Daryl Dawkins, Clyde Drexler. Daryll Griffith, David Thompson, Lebron, Kobe, and I'm sure countless others

From other thread....

Dunkers

PG-Derrick Rose, Steve Francis(tie)

SG-MJ, Kobe(tie)

SF-Lebron James

PF-Blake Griffin

C-Shaquille O'Neal

For the 2G's, I like Air Jordan and Kobe.

BUT, are you guys really ignoring Vince Carter? I mean really?

I think that you have to add John Wall as a PG...maybe.

and for an encore....

Can't have Rose without Wall IMO, both equally as explosive....

Hands down the best center was Larry Nance.

1. Spud, Nate Robinson (little guys), Wall, Rose,

2. Jordan, Carter, Kobe, D Wade

3. Dr. J, Dominique, Lebron

4. Blake Griffin, Kemp,

5. Dwight Howard, Shaq,

Are we talking about dunking in a game or dunking in a dunk competition? If it's in a game Spud Webb cannot be in there.

In his prime I'd argue Baron Davis was the best PG dunker. So much power.

We might be staring at one of the best PG dunkers in this NBA finals. Rose is on his way up there as well.

Kevin Johnson deserves mention at PG also.

I forgot about Vince. I think I'd put him above MJ and Kobe.

Kevin Johnson deserves mention at PG also.

I was getting ready to emotion him.
