Was on the phone with a Conner parent and Ryle scores 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th with two out to win. An errant throw on a comebacker to the mound kept the inning alive for Ryle and spells disaster for Conner.

The error was with only one out and not two.

It was perhaps the craziest ending I have ever seen. Congrats to Ryle and good luck in the State Tourney.

Pictures later.

Never said it happened with two, although my second sentence might imply that.

Trophy / medal biting has become a bit of a fad. I was told Olympic medalists have been doing it for a few years. Nadal has also been doing it with tennis trophies when he wins. One of those things that has suddenly become the thing to do when you win a trophy / medal.

Ryle always seems to find a way. It's mental

The error was with only one out and not two.

Error occurred with one out but the runs scored when there were two outs.

Congrats to the Lady Raiders.

Can someone give details on Ryle's 7th inning?

Clyde, not good at this but here goes.

Dickerson up first in 7th for Ryle, Hard shot back to pitcher, nice play on catch....out number 1

#41 shot back to pitcher, again fields the ball nicely but overthrows first. Plenty of time but just threw high.

Brumback up next and pops out to 3rd base for 2nd out.

Rouse up and hits a Texas Leaguer to Left just between two players. Leaving runners on first and second.

Olivero hits a bloop single to right loading the bases with two out.

Smith hits a hard ground ball to short which is bobbled, close play at first but safe. Bases loaded score tied still two outs.

Stephens, MVP,with a strong single to Left center to win the game.

THERE YOU GO CLYDE

Game reminds me of a great song by The Cars..........Heartbreak City. Tough loss for the Lady Cougars. Congrats to Ryle.
