Secretary of Health and Human Services: rockmom. I might not approve many of her ideas, but I'd want someone with her compassion for people giving me advise and running this organization for me. The question would be: how long could she tolerate working for me?

.

LN, you are NOTHING compared with what I've had to work with in my career.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs-Think I'm going to dole this one out to Clyde. The most pragmatic BGP'er, IMO. He'll be good to use logic over feelings in settling those issues

.

Two things I pride myself on: loyalty and pragmatism.

VP-TB&G-I wanna make history as the first female super-duo in US Presidential history. :D Plus, she and I are pretty much in sync (Not to be confused with N'Sync...which I'll address later)

Secretary of State-Getslow. Was going to be Habib, because with a name like Habib, I know I'd be in good with the Muslim Brotherhood nations

Secretary of the Treasury-Going with Tootsie. He's never steered me wrong

Secretary of Defense-I'm going with RTS....maybe we'll stop arguing for a while...4-8 years, at least.

Attorney General-I'm going to go with Hearsay, because he's a defense attorney, so we know he's used to dealing with difficult cases.

Secretary of the Interior-Going wtih FKY on this one. I don't know what he'll do, but I have to have a Justin Timberlake look-alike to bring some exposure to this position. (The aforementioned, promised,, n'Sync reference)

Secretary of Agriculture-I'm going with Goldie here, because I know she knows how to grow some veggies, AND she can cook too!

Secretary of Commerce-Think I'm going to give this one to leatherneck. We generally don't agree on much, so this should make the meetings entertaining as we endeavor to punch each other in the face with words.

Secretary of Labor-This one I want to give to nWo, but co-appoint PurplePride and KYTmc. They're all really busy, all union guys, and can cover each other's butts in times of need....like when I need nWo to be the National Weather Secretary

Secretary of Health and Human Services-Think this one should be doled out to spindoc. Too many people in this country have bad dental hygeiene, which can lead to a host of other diseases. PLUS, maybe some effort will be made, and we can stop the whole inexplicable circumstance of finding only people with bad teeth to comment to the media in times of crisis

Secretary of Education-This one's going to AllTell. We're sympatico on the education issue

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development-Going with Birdsfan. He's going into social work, so he'll know the challenges and his semester at NKU will have prepared him to solve the crisis.

Secretary of Transportation-woodsrider gets the nod here, because he drives a LOT!

Secretary of Energy-This one goest o PepRock, who knows more about nuclear than the number of people who can spell nuclear or pronounce it

Secretary of Veterans Affairs-Think I'm going to dole this one out to Clyde. The most pragmatic BGP'er, IMO. He'll be good to use logic over feelings in settling those issues

Secretary of Homeland Security-mtnref is the most paranoid individual on BGP. Who better to make sure the country is safe and we're all equipped with enough tinfoil to survive.

You won't believe this but I was just composing my list and have you as my VP, too!

V

Secretary of State- Rockmom: Let’s face it who doesn’t like rockmom? She would be the perfect person to represent us with foreign leaders.

.

I'm tellin' ya! I'm seeing visions of hundreds of pantsuits in my closet(s) in my future!

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development-Rockmom-she runs hotels and she is a democrat(raging liberal) so I know that her and I together will make sure everybody has welfare and a nice warm home in the hood. With maid service. *Acemona will be her #2 guy. These two together will do big things.

.

Plus I'll make it profitable...it's what I do. :D

Okay, I can’t stand it anymore! Was trying to resist the temptation, but I just have to make a list:

Vice-President: Rockmom

You old time BGPers will remember the BGP elections of 2004. RM and I did okay as a ticket then, so why break up a good thing. This time, the roles will be reversed. But don’t worry; this will definitely be a G.W. Bush/Dick Cheney type of arrangement – so she’ll make all the really hard decisions … and I’ll just look pretty.

Secretary of State: Getslow

I picked him because he’s intelligent and cultured. And if we ever branch out into space, he already has extensive knowledge of the galaxy. Some of you put RTS in this position. But since I know him so well (and I want the world to survive) I’m going to have to decline that choice. Remember Frasier’s dream about Woody being president? Yeah, it would be like that!

Secretary of the Treasury: Watusi

This was easy. Watusi is the only guy I’d trust with any financial matters.

Secretary of Defense: PepRock

Nobody knows weaponry and tactics like PepRock.

Attorney General: Hearsay

This is a no-brainer. (Don’t worry; I have other plans for L’neck.)

Secretary of the Interior: Gold Sunrise

Yes, she’s a teacher. But long-time BGPers also know that she is the world’s greatest cook. So who better to keep the people fed and cared for?

Secretary of Agriculture: Leatherneck

A little known fact about LN is that he is a part-time farmer. Okay, he isn’t really a“farmer,” but he does have a farm, and all the cool toys that come with it.

Secretary of Commerce: threetimelover

TTL is the best entrepreneur I know. She’d be great in this job.

Secretary of Labor: nWo

Now that nWo is retired from BGP (and the NWS), he has plenty of time for this job. And with as manyg randbabies as he’s had, nobody (male) knows labor quite the way he does.

Secretary of Health and Human Services: LRCW

He knows the healthcare world, and I think he’d make sure everyone got the care they need.

Secretary of Education: True Blue & Gold

TB&G is a natural for this position, and would probably initiate many innovative new programs to improve education…provided the world doesn’t end in December or alien tornadoes kill us all.

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development: PurplePride92

PP92 is the most “urban” guy I know. Okay, he’s the only urban guy I know.

Secretary of Transportation: Randy Parker

One word: Zeppelin

Secretary of Energy: TonyDanza

Nobody has as much energy as TD. Even when she was fighting the battle of a lifetime, she never quit and never let anything slow her down.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Gametime

GT is an expert at what it takes to develop a rookie prospect into a veteran.

Secretary of Homeland Security: Halfback20

He knows a little something about laying down the law and spotting suspicious characters. (I didn’t choose Guru because we need to keep him here to run the BGP sandbox.)

Chief of Staff: Run to State

I need someone to balance out Rockmom. I just hope he doesn't balance her...out the east portico window.

Press Secretary: The Scribe

The guy knows how to spin a story!

Cultural Attaché: Anybody but Jim Schue

Edited by Birdsfan

VP: Rockmom - if I kick the bucket, I need another strong, moderate female to take my place

Secretary of State - definitely Habib; one of the most intelligent BGPers I know; I want him representing our interests on such a large platform

Secretary of Defense - RTS; no explanation needed!

Attorney General - Hatz; I've always been a fan of his thinking and integrity

Secretary of the Treasury - 75 center; I need him in a strong advisory role and his expertise will come into play here

Secretary of the Interior - mcpapa; we need a good man working on the inside here

Secretary of Agriculture - plantsmanky; who else???

Secretary of Labor - UKMF; everyone will work under his leadership!

Secretary of Commerce - Clyde; he is the one that I would rely on to get the economy moving in ths area

Secretary of Health and Human Services - AllTell; hopefully, we could get certified trainers for each school!

Secretary of Education - acemona; very passionate about education and improving the lives of students

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development - Adopted Ad; compassionate, caring, but pragmatic

Secretary of Energy - PepRock; we see eye to eye on this subject - more nuclear energy! (and maybe some more wind power for my VP?)

Secretary of Veterans Affairs - 75center; this is an area near and dear to my heart and I trust 75 would do this job well

Secretary of Transportation- PP92; just because I like him and I want him in my cabinet :D

Secretary of Homeland Security - Birdsfan; just ask the squirrels!

I'm going to add one position that as a president I might be able to name and that I think is hugely important - Supreme Court Justice - Leatherneck; he is a man all about principle and I could think of no one to interpret the law and constitution better than he would - if the chance arises, I'd make him Chief Justice

Come on, Randy. One of our few brothers on here and you automatically put in in a position with "urban?":D
He's well-spoken.
Secretary of Transportation: Randy Parker

One word: Zeppelin

Nice work!

He's well-spoken.

Well. Done.

I just realize that I have 75center twice. I wanted to give nWo an office, anyway, and Secretary of Veterans Affairs would be perfect.
