I don't think he walks Votto.

 Maybe Homer will lose his mind or something and make for an interesting biopic.

Costanzo looks like the villain in a bad 80s movie.

ANOTHER quality start for Homer.

Guys it looks like we might be seeing a change in philosophy with Marshall as the closer. He looks like a situational reliever versus lefties and not one to handle tough righties.

CC will be tough today. Great matchup. Would love to see the Reds take 2 of 3 from the Yanks.

Well there goes hope of Chapman starting. Let's keep him locked into the 9th inning role instead of keeping him available for the toughest parts of the game.

Assuming that is sarcastic, I agree.

If Ryan Madson was healthy none of this would even be an issue. Heck, if Masset and/or Bray were healthy this probably wouldn't be an issue. :irked:

And he can only close every other day. Or a the very most two days in a row and the he has to sit. Plus he'll be worse statistically on the second day.

Based on what exactly?

The Blue Jays just waived Adam Lind. Lind is really struggling this year, but he's a LF with some pop. He's making $10 million, so I'd imagine that teams will be hesitant to claim him off of waivers. If he passes, I think the team that signs him can do so without paying the full contract price....an interesting option for the Reds.

Oh I was. This team is PERFECT for a closer by committee. Locking him into the 9th is just stupid. I don't think Masset will be back anytime soon.
