Terrible start by the offense. They make Nova throw 28 pitches but let him wiggle out of trouble thanks to 3 strikeouts, 2 of them with a man at third base. This offense just cannot get the big hit when they need it to put early pressure on the opposing pitcher.

Nice 2 out hit to score a run by Heisey. The Reds need hits like that to give Bailey some run support.

Geez, 6 outs and 6 Ks by Red's hitters through 2 innings. They may set a major league record today for whiffs. 2-0 Reds and it's hit or miss today.
