May 21, 201214 yr Give me snow anyday over hot weather. Mountain Ref and this libertarian rarely agree on anything. However on this subject good sir we are 100% in agreement. I much prefer the cold to the heat. Shoot I am still wearing shorts half the time in cold weather anyway.
May 21, 201214 yr A day at the range in the winter and late fall= awesome. A day at the range in summer=dehydration.

I'm the opposite, this weekend I was able to play 2 full rounds of golf, went for a long ride on the motorcycle throughout NKY, went swimming, tossed some football around and played corn hole. If it's cold out I may be inclined to toss some football but that's about it. I love being outside but not being cold.

May 21, 201214 yr See above. If that's the case perhaps you need to start drinking more water. I played 18 holes Thursday and Friday and was able to survive and keep hydrated. You don't have to drink beer just because you're hitting golf balls, water is your friend.

I keep multiple liters with me when I go shooting. Some people sweat profusely.

I would be one of those. Even when I was at fighting weight I would sweat like a hog. I hate hot weather and just sitting around sweating.

Actually......"The body of a hog is fat and strong. They have short, bristly hair on their bodies. This animal doesn't have sweat glands so it likes to roll around in mud to keep cool. " Is that why bacon is salty? mmmmmmm.......bacon

May 21, 201214 yr The weather has been nice, but we are already approaching too miserable to do anything temperatures in mid-May. I am still convinced we have it ingrained in to our heads that hot sunny weather = perfect. Outdoor jogging is close to being shut down for 3 1/2 - 4 months no matter the time of day, thinking clearly is eliminated with required squinting, and perpetual sweating for simple tasks just checking the mail. Luckily that I own a road bike now I can do some longer stuff early in the mornings. I see less people outside these next few months that I do any other time of the year.
