May 9, 201214 yr :ohbrother: Valdez has no business EVER starting a game. Wilson Valdez is 2-4 vs Greinke, small sample size I know...The other 2 hitters with success against him are Stubbs and Votto...Cairo probably isn't ready to play Dfense yet and it could be worse it could've been Harris...I'm just glad Dusty didn't get crazy and play Valdez at SS instead of Cozart...
May 9, 201214 yr Former Red Jared Burton hasn't allowed a hit in 10.2 innings. Neither has Ryan Ludwick.
May 9, 201214 yr Reds production out of LF is 28 out of 30 teams. Reds production out of 3B is 26 out of 30 teams.
May 9, 201214 yr Exactly! I don't understand why Dusty thinks the 3rd game of every series is "make-shift" lineup day and decides to make multiple changes at the same time. Been pretty successful on getaway day this year.
May 9, 201214 yr Reds production out of LF is 28 out of 30 teams. Reds production out of 3B is 26 out of 30 teams. :puke: Frazier needs to play almost everyday splitting between 3B and LF...Sure he will struggle but he has talent and was drafted in the 1st round based on the talent, he isn't getting any younger and deserves the opportunity...The Red Sox and Nationals have gotten near as much production from their Rookies in 1 week than the Reds have got all year... LF Ludwick 65 ABs, 3 Doubles, 3 HRs 11 RBIs, .185 AVG Heisey 63 ABs, 2 Doubles, 2 Triples, 5 RBIs, .222 AVG 3B Rolen 84 ABs, 5 Doubles, 2 HRs 10 RBIs, .179 AVG Todd Frazier plays both of these positions, he is a former First Round pick with lots of potential...18 ABs, 2 Doubles, 2 Triples, 1 HR's, 3 RBIs, .389 AVG Also in comparison Will Middlebrooks the Red Sox top 3B prospect has done this...21 ABs, 3 Doubles, 3 HRs, 9 RBIs, .381 AVG...And Bryce Harper in LF has done this...26 ABs, 5 Doubles, 3 RBIs, .308 AVG...

Wholeheartedly agree.
May 9, 201214 yr Cozart SS Stubbs CF Votto 1B Phillips 2B Bruce RF Frazier LF Valdez 3B Hanigan C Cueto P I hope to see more of Frazier in LF. If I didn't know how Dusty thinks I'd say unbelievable that Valdez gets the start. He can't have much history versus Greinke so why does he get the start over someone like Heisey or Ludwick who might have a chance to give the Reds much needed offense against a tough pitcher?

Dusty and his numbers!
May 9, 201214 yr Been pretty successful on getaway day this year. I'd bet it hasn't been against the caliber of pitcher that they face today.
