April 27, 201214 yr The kid and his parents were just on GMA, they said it was all blown out of proportion and that they talked to the other couple during the game and said they were nice and had good interaction with their son. They also said their son got a ball at another game they attended when they had seats in about the same area. If you look at the video, the kid looks away from the guy as he turns towards him, doesn't even look like even noticed. But, as others have said, the other couple may have had a kid, grand child, or someone else they intended to give the ball to. I didn't see the player pointed to the kid showing who he intends to give the ball to either. The other couple was on GMA too, said they had no idea what was going on with the kid.

The parents also said the couple offered the kid the ball but they would not accept it as a teaching tool to their kid. Not sure if the teaching tool was, "Do not be a jerk like these people" or if it was "This is what you get when you are a whiny little brat."

April 27, 201214 yr I would be ticked at the parents for allowing this to play out on television. That is going to ruin the kid on down the line. Just issue the statement and get on with it.

April 27, 201214 yr Quit crying and learn how to catch you little brat. :lol: :lol: I would have been honored to have played baseball with you as my coach. I thrived under the style I think you would use. Dead serious. This post reminded me of my favorite baseball coach. Brought back good memories.
