All I'll ask from the Reds from here on out is this: if you're going to lose, just do it in the first 5 innings and lose big. If runners were on 2nd & 3rd, it'd be a different situation. I honestly thought Mesoraco would have been thrown out by 10 feet had Beltran not bobbled the ball.

Right. I'm still not sure that Valdez would've scored but it's definitely possible.
