Cincy might be the worst baserunning team in the league.

How was that bad base running?

I bite my tongue.

Cardinals booted us into a run. Lord knows we need the help.

You may be right, but not tonight anyway.

Yet.

Valdez took like 4 steps toward 2B after the line drive. You're supposed to freeze and see the line drive get through the infield.

It happened pretty quick he was getting his secondary lead and got nailed. Bad break.

If he froze after the ball was hit and was still out then it would be a bad break. They didn't go to 2B on that because Mesoraco froze and went back to the bag when he realized it was getting caught. That's good baserunning. Valdez took off right after the ball was hit. Bad baserunning. That was nailed in my head ever since little league.

It would be nice just to see Stubbs put the ball in play.

I hate the walk. Much more likely to get in a hole because of a bad count on the next batter than benefit because of the bases loaded.

Couldn't disagree more.

Gotta stay focused and get the last out. I've seen it happen so many times that the reds get the first out then give up a two out hit.
