I assure you the vast majority of those people are not Castro fans or respect his ability to stay in power. There is probably one place in America you cannot say what he did, and he said it in that place.

Contextually what he said was valid. But as the face of a MLB franchise, context means very little. Some words are not to be uttered. Castro is one of those words.

And for the record I, myself have in effect said what Ozzie said. How Castro has remained in power going back to Eisenhower is nothing short of amazing. All have wanted the man dead yet he keeps on ticking despite being only 90 miles or so from America.

I agree. Ozzie, in typical Ozzie fashion used a VERY poor choice of words to associate with Castro. I don't think many are even bothering to attempt to undertand exactly what he said. They just see "Castro", "Love", and "Respect".
