Trust me. It's still being formulated. He may indeed run the ball. He may play receiver. He may play the wing. He will play some QB.

Exactly...not being a CCH fan, I thought I was missing something about who they lost and who is coming back. I thought CCH lost a lot this year. I will trust your opinion on this.

 

They did lose a lot offensively outside of Bir. Defensively they will be much better.

True. Bir is one of the best in the state. Dressman is a talent. I could see them lining Dressman up at WR. They have Beatrice back at RB. I am sure CCH will be good but their line will not be as good as last year's line and it all starts up front. That line last year was excellent.

So, you have seen all the QB's in the state , either in person or on film ? I think the folks at Trinity and Lex Cath or maybe even Scott , may have an arguement . Unless I missd it , Highlands hasn't even named their starting QB yet.

What are Birs strong points , running the O, arm strength, acuracy , throwing while scrambling , running designed QB draws and keepers , and how about TD's to interceptions ratio. Don't try to say Bir is #1 in all of these , because I won't buy it. I think Bir is a very good QB , but , the best in the state , I'm not sure. He should be in the top 5, IMO.

Covington Catholic junior QB Blake Bir is among the area football players listed on the U.S. Army All-American Bowl combine roster, which will be featured during the bowl week in early January in San Antonio.

 

Bir, who is 6 feet 2 and 185 pounds, threw for 2,482 yards and 28 touchdowns this past season as a junior. He rushed 50 times for 240 yards and a touchdown. He had a 61 percent completion percentage.

 

Bir has thrown for 4,782 yards passing with 50 touchdown passes. He is receiving interest from Northwestern, Duke, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Mississippi State, Bowling Green, Miami University, Marshall, and several others, according to CovCath coach David Wirth.
