Granted it lacks the personal touch and only comes from a bunch of statistics on a computer, but there it is!

I dont recall this being the Ashland vs Fairview predictions thread.

Amazing that Boyd is ranked below Elliott and Ashland, both of which were beaten by the Lions.

That is odd. I wonder how long the Cantrall ratings take before they start incorporating scores from this year.

Obviously, they don't seem to have the problem of rating schools that no longer exist...

Oh well, what does a computer know about 16th region basketball anyway???

I think the Cantrall ratings are way off base or off center or anyway off. What do you make of all of this discussion and opinions, Mocephus?

I think you mean the Courier-Journal's Litratings.

I believe that strength of schedule is a factor in these rankings. That will help explain Ashlands ranking.

Apparently it does instead of wins and losses. Good thing strength of schedule doesn't count in the win/loss column :thumb:

Actually, I was making the comment that "at least the Cantrall ratings don't have the same problem as the Litkenhous ratings". Notice that I say that "they don't seem to have the problem of rating schools that no longer exist..."

The "don't" indicating that Cantrall does NOT have the same problem as the Litkenhous ratings.

Sorry if that was unclear.

LOL - not to worry, addout. I wish I could say that I've never misread a post, but that would be a lie - and a bad one...
