  1. I think this years team is better than the team in 04, I think they are more well rounded on offense. The '04 team relied HEAVILY on Shawn Robbins, Kyle Nelson was only a freshman and just learning the offense (Not much to learn about handing the ball off.).....Any more big time challengers to Bell before the 3rd round of the playoffs?
  2. Bell looked very good tonight, big night for TR Christopher on senior night, congrats to him and all the other seniors for a nice win in their last regular season home game. Im still seeing a few weak points on the team, but nothing that Dudley wont pick up and fix.
  3. That was Jereme Neal, and he was involved in a very tragic accident this weekend and passed away, this is a sad loss for this young man's family, friends, school, and community....everyone keep his family and friends in your prayers
  4. I say if Lex Cath is up in there, Bell should be up there somewhere.
  5. Merrick hit a couple from 63 during warm-ups for the grid-o-rama @ evarts earlier this year.
  6. This is off topic but Luv2Snap...is there anyway I can get more pics from that game????
  7. I could see him saying that if it was a close game, and a few mistakes cost them the game...but 24-0???? c'mon now.
  8. I saw a couple of loose ends on defense for bell, but still after tonights game the defensive is giving up 6.75ppg this season. Special teams is really playing a big role in bell succes this year. Harbin (#24) is a headhunter out there on punt returns, this is the third striaght week he has absolutely steamrolled someone. That feild was amazing. Off week followed by Volunteer, TN....anyone have any info on them?
  9. It looked like later on in the game 3rd qaurter I do believe, knox central coaches and medical personel were working on a player on the sideline...it looked like he was dehydrated though....anyone know anything about this kid?
  10. If A missed extra point is gonna determine it, then you'd better make it 21-20 bell, I dont see merrick missing many of those.
  11. I may be a bit of a homer but I want to throw Shawn Robbins name in the mix based on his high school career. 02(Sophomore)- 12 games 1655yds 21 tds 03(Junior)- 10 games 2119yds 26 tds (12 ypc on the season) 04(Senior)- 12 games 2625yds 34 tds I remember his senior year very well (Having been at every game) He only had touches in the 2nd half of 3 games that year (Regular season loss @ Prestonsburg, @Ashland in the playoffs, vs. Highlands in the state semis) Shawn also ranks near the top in a few of kentuckys all time records. 11th in total points 10th in total touchdowns 7th in rushing yards 6th in rushing touchdowns
  12. Rockets by as many as they want. I dont even see them as a favorite in their district.
  13. Any idea on stats for #5 sophomore Jake Slusher??? I heard he was playing for them and remember seeing him back in 8th grade. He was a pretty good back when I saw him.
  14. 59/60 one of the two. He hit the crossbar on a 57 yarder in the johnson central scrimmage and was tryed from 60 5-6 times before the SEKC gridorama. I have reason to believe he can get it from 60+
  15. Just got back from the game, and yes us bell folks are very proud of our kicker, Monte Merrick, he has a very bright future. I wasnt sure what to expect in this game, but I am impressed to see bell looking good so early in the season.
  16. Bells OL is the biggest question mark of the season, with their running game looking to be really strong, as always with both scenarios. Quoted from Tri-State Prep Football preview 2007 "Junior Jacob King (6'0, 304lbs) saw starts at both center and tackle last season and is penciled in as the starting right tackle going into the season. At left tackle is sophomore Joe Collet (6'2, 225lbs), who also started several games in 2006, and senior Shane Webb (6'0, 204lbs) returns as the starting right gaurd. Sophomore Mike Howard (6'2, 275lbs) started two games at gaurd last year and moves there full-time in 2007. Billy Britton (5'11, 225lbs), Kyle Fuson (5-10, 225lbs) and freshman Seth Chambers (6-4, 245lbs) are the top reserves." No mention of the starting Center sophomore Cody Marcum (6'2, 215lbs)....
  17. As do I? Were you at the JC scrimmage? What about the Evarts scrimmage?
  18. And Tyler Harbin making the tackle as well....you missed that one.
  19. Me and my brother are leaving here at 5:30 hopefull we can make it by halftime, we'll have our bell county shirts on.
  20. Im gonna try to be there. I get off work at 5 so I dont know if I can make the drive from bell county or not, I would love to check the game out though. If not, keep an eye on #5 for the bobcats, pretty good for a freshman.
  21. Who is the running back for williamsburg?, he looks pretty good.
