Generally they tell people to stop and they do. If they don't (no matter what color) what happens after that is usually bad.

Depends on which order you disobey. Stop walking away - nope. Don't put your hands in that car - yes. I don't know that that's what happened here, but if it did - absolutely justified.

Yes. Absolutely.

Scott Co has to pay to use the college field. The Toyota charity wagon is grossly over-exaggerated. Scott Co Middle is the old Scott Co High building. It wouldn't surprise me if they played on what is now the practice field many many years ago. Good to see some more Scott Co haters join the conversation.

But. But. But. They're down this year... Haters gonna hate lol. Congrats to Elder on a huge win. -
Because in spite of how the entire world views Scott Co, the athletic programs are terribly under-funded. Football, Baseball, Girls Softball, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Tennis are all played at Georgetown College or on a Parks and Rec owned field. Basketball, Volleyball and Track (1 track for the high school and 3 middle schools to share) are on school property. It's pretty pathetic. I don't see that changing any time in the near future. We're too busy wasting millions of dollars arguing over the details of a new high school. What McKee has done is impressive - even if you don't like him. There's no denying that a 6A state championship won while sharing a practice field with the middle school team, and the soccer teams is quite an accomplishment.

What if there was a playoff between all 6 class winners?

Trinity wins. -
Official outcome of SC-Lafayette football uncertain until Monday - Breaking News - News Graphic Coach McKee gives facts here that make a lot of sense. No field available. College visits already scheduled for kids. Game means nothing regarding seeding. There was no simple solution and it isn't worth the trouble of anything more than a simple solution. I hope they make us forfeit. That scenario plays out in our favor down the road more than the abbreviated game win.

Kurt Young: Mercer County new head coach
Plato replied to ChiefSmoke's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Congratulations to Kurt and to Mercer Co. This late in the school year, Kurt is an awesome hire. He has been a lot of places and has done well at just about all of them. Heck - he won a ton of games at Thomas College. You NKY folks will remember Troy Fryman from Conner - he played for Kurt back then. He was with Happy at Gtown so there might be more "move ins" lol. If you ask he and Kelly about their time in Hawaii they both say that it's different when you're not vacationing there. They never felt accepted. I wish Kurt nothing but the best. He will push those kids and get a lot out of them. -
If true, that is a great hire. Kurt is a great basketball mind and a good person.

Wasn't really an argument, just an observation from a dude up in central KY who doesn't have a dog in the fight.
