Josh Reed was pitching a good game. John-Scott Carver 2for2 a HR and a single and a walk. Barr and Reed both Doubled. The Rams are ready for the Dist. The bats are starting to come alive. This game has been called due to rain bottom of the 3rd.

Who pitched for Middelsboro?

Raceland had 4 hits and Middlesboro had 3. Middlesboro had the hit when they needed it. Raceland had there chance but couldn't get it done. Hats off to Middlesboro. And good luck next week. No complaints about the game. Good called game also.

Raceland plays @ 1:30 Fleming County and at 4:30 or 5:30 Russell. Both games are @ Russell. Its going to be a nice day to play High School baseball. :popcorn:

When the district games start, anything can happen. Look at Elliott and E Carter. East came a hair winning their game. Now wouldn't that be something to see.

Pete Rose bet on baseball. It might have been when he was a manager and I'm sure he probably bet while he was playing. In ever club house across America it says the number one rule that baseball player do not brake is betting on baseball. For doing so they know that they will be baned for life. For this he must pay the price. What would baseball be if even ten percent where doing the same as Rose. And for A-Rod, until baseball get tuff with the juicers they will not stop it. The older player try to add a couple seasons playing against younger player. The younger player are trying to improve their stats. All sports are in bad shape. Its a shame that this is what are young people have for role models. I say rite the ship. Get them all out of the game.

I can tell you that the best one will win the spot. The coaches want to win. Who ever gives the Rams the best chance to win will be in there. I don't care who you are or where you are from. The cream will always come to the top. Must be a leader with a strong arm and can take a hit. Must be able to move around and down the field quick. If you have these qualities and your up to the job, you can apply before July 15 @ 500 Ram Blvd.
