Wilson went 2 inns 0 Runs, Reynolds went 1/3 inn gave up 5 runs, Reed went 5 inn and gave up 1 Run. Reed also had 3 hits to help the Rams win in the first round of the 16th Region at Morehead State University. Next Game will be with the Boyd Co. Lions. This game should pit 2 of the best pitcher in the Region. Wilson for Raceland and Moore for Boyd Co. should be a good one. Congratulations to the Raceland Rams. :thumb:

Rain alters baseball schedule MOREHEAD — The 16th Region baseball tournament is off to a rainy start. Inclement weather has altered the tournament schedule at Sonny Allen Field with Monday's early games moving to the 5 and 7:30 p.m. slots. Boyd County plays West Carter in the opener and Raceland meets Fleming County in the second game. The first round continues Tuesday with Greenup County playing Fairview at 5:30 p.m. and Bath County meeting East Carter in the late game. The semifinals are now Wednesday (5:30 and 7:30 p.m.) and the championship game is Thursday at 7 p.m.

Yes, The games are on. Boyd Co. and West are starting now.

Boyd Co. vs West Carter @ 5:00 Raceland vs Fleming Co. @ 7:30 These games will be all thats played today 5/25. GC and Fairview, East Carter and Bath will be 5/26 not sure about the times.

Look coach, Year in year out you have to beat Louisville. And getting beat by VMI doesn't help either man.

Now, just a guess, I would say Boyd Co. will save Moore for Greenup Co. and of course Raceland will have to get by Fleming first. If they pitch Wilson the odds are very much in favor of the Rams for the first game. If Boyd saves Moore for Greenup then it could go either way. But anything can happen, But I still don't see anybody beating Greenup. They are on a mission. :isurrender:

You wont see Boyd co. it will be Raceland again with no pitching left. It would be better to play all of the 16th region than to play Greenup Co. very well coached team. And getting better each week.

The Road if they can make it in the 16th is Fleming, Boyd, and the team to beat Greenup Co.

Go to win the tournament. Save the best for the best team. Look at what the other team is doing with their pitching and take it from there. Maybe start your best 3 inn and see where you stand. If you got a good lead pull your starter. But in all go to win the whole tournament. If you lose the first game so be it. At least you tried.
